Handgun Training
Arkansas Arms and Ammo currently has two NRA certified pistol instructors and have over 35 years of combined shooting experience. At Arkansas Arms we offer three basic levels of pistol training for law abiding citizens in the central Arkansas area. For beginners who have never fired a handgun and want to learn about a specific handgun model we offer the NRA FIRST Steps pistol course for most of the popular firearms we carry in our store. The NRA Basic Pistol course is for those who may or may not know how to use a handgun safely or are uncomfortable with handguns and want to learn safe firearms handling and some basic shooting instructions. The final course we offer is the Arkansas concealed carry weapons training course. This course will help train citizens who wish to carry a pistol for self defense purposes. This course covers the current state laws and some basic techniques for self defense. Arkansas Arms and Ammo encourages safe gun ownership and training. These are the key's to success when using a firearm for protection, recreation or hunting. We also encourage all citizens to obtain their concealed carry permits and exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms, after all, an armed society is a polite society. To request one of these classes please submit a training request form . We will contact you as soon as possible with details about your requested class.
Each class requires a 50% deposit to reserve your seat at least one week in advance. If any class receives less than 5 students it may be cancelled, your deposit can be returned or held for the next class if you'd like.
